中華人民共和國(guó)國(guó)防部7月31日在人民大會(huì)堂舉行盛大招待會(huì)，熱烈慶祝中國(guó)人民解放軍建軍95周年。中共中央總書記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平和李克強(qiáng)、栗戰(zhàn)書、汪洋、王滬寧、趙樂(lè)際、韓正、王岐山等黨和國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人出席招待會(huì)。

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Sunday attended a reception to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), which falls on Aug. 1. The reception was held at the Great Hall of the People by the Ministry of National Defense. Xi, also Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), was joined by other senior leaders of the Party and the state, including Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji, Han Zheng and Wang Qishan.

The world has entered a new period of volatility and transformation, and instability and uncertainty are increasing in China's national security landscape. In the next five years, the central task for developing our military is to realize its centenary goal. Efforts should be made to comprehensively strengthen military personnel by increasing their awareness of potential dangers, sense of responsibility and willingness to forge ahead.
