12月17日，在日本生活28年之久的旅日大熊貓“永明”被任命為“中日友好特使”。中國(guó)駐大阪總領(lǐng)事薛劍宣布這一任命，儀式在位于日本和歌山縣白浜町的休閑樂園“冒險(xiǎn)世界”舉辦。

Eimei, a giant panda that has lived in Japan for 28 years, was appointed a special envoy for Sino-Japan friendship in western Japan on Saturday. Chinese Consul General in Osaka Xue Jian announced the designation at a ceremony held Saturday in Adventure World, an amusement park in Shirahama of Japan's Wakayama prefecture.

2022年是中日邦交正?；?0周年，也是大熊貓首次訪日50周年。大熊貓作為中日友好的象征，為促進(jìn)兩國(guó)人民友誼、發(fā)展兩國(guó)關(guān)系發(fā)揮著獨(dú)特作用。

今年30歲的“永明”是目前在日本最高齡的大熊貓，同時(shí)創(chuàng)下在飼養(yǎng)條件下自然繁殖的大熊貓最高齡紀(jì)錄。1994年“永明”從中國(guó)來(lái)到日本，在“冒險(xiǎn)世界”繁育了16只大熊貓幼崽?！懊半U(xiǎn)世界”樂園12月15日曾宣布，明年2月“永明”將和它的雙胞胎女兒“櫻浜”“桃浜”一同被送返成都大熊貓繁育研究基地。屆時(shí)在“冒險(xiǎn)世界”生活的大熊貓將剩下4只。
